Camping with Friends
Camping with friends is a great holiday tradition for many people. There are many great advantages to camping with groups. There are more people to help bring all the camping gear, more people to watch the kids, more kids to run off and play together and more people to create entertainment in the dark evenings.
Group camping can make it easier for everyone. Each adult or family can take charge of one meal for the trip, which would really cut down on food planning for each family. Families can also pool their gear together or have kids sleep together in the same tent, allowing adults to sleep in or have privacy. You don’t need many camp stoves for example, just one or two.
Adults can also get more playtime in if you approach camping as a group. While some are in charge of watching kids at the beach, another group can go kayaking, for example, an activity that is difficult to arrange with young children. Once you find some friends that you enjoy spending time with, you can coordinate it so that you go together every summer. It may become a great summer tradition!
