Have a Camping Gear with you on a holiday
As our father was an army officer during his service period, we were used to traveling to a new location once in three years. Army men are rarely retained in one posting for more than three years. This policy of the Indian army has helped army men and their families to meet lots of people with varying cultures and are exposed to new surroundings and living styles once in three years.
The frequent transfer of our father had proved to be a blessing for us. We learned to get used to different people, different languages and varying cultures. This broadened our views about people in general, made us more tolerant and very adaptable too. Our father has a beautiful Camping Gear provided by the army and he would take us on trekking at least once in three or four months, whenever we had holidays. We would love the adventure and look to such trips days in advance. While all our friends went to their relatives’ houses, we would go to countryside to enjoy our vacation!
